Coverup Upholstery

I cannot recommend Coverup highly enough. Paul is a proper craftsman and it shows. He really listened when I explained what I was after, suggested the sorts of fabrics that would work and made extra removable covers that I can take off and wash. I am so happy with the result. My ancient day bed now looks outstanding!

A place recommended to me of where to get my chair base re upholstered. Workmanship was really neat and tidy and overall finish was beautiful. Shop owner really helpful and pleasant to talk to, listened to what I wanted and gave a price up front of how much it would be. Would recommend to many more people- this place is like a jewel- very hard to come by these days. Would definitely come back again- thank you guys.

Had an outdoor sofa recovered. Asked for outdoor suitable materials to be used. After taking the covers off to wash them, the zips got caught in spray foam that the Upolster added when reupholstering, causing the zips to break. I sent them back for new zips to be installed on the broken cushions. I also mentioned that the covers are so tight after washing them, and informed the Upolster of the shrinkage. I was told that it was my fault for not reading the washing instructions on the material even though I wasnt shown or given washing instructions at the time of choosing the material that was recommended by them. They told me that they cannot be washed, I argued that why would anyone have covers made for an outdoor sofa that cannot be washed. Bird poo is not something I would want to sit on. But still the arguments and insults came my way when picking up the covers. I didnt pay for the new zips and was shown the door and told never to come back again. Customer service is truly awful so would recommend never trusting this company because of the awful attitude of the boss.
