Name is Perfect, lazy! The waitress was sweet but the quality of the food was so poor that anyone would be embarrassed to serve it, it took over an hour between courses and it wasnt that busy to cause an issue on that front, they ran out of a few items which wasnt the end of the world but the buttermilk chicken was more at home on an Indian mixed grill, but what was truly upsetting was the 6 raw chips that accompanied the suspect buttermilk chicken, shame we wasted our lunch out at this restaurant, but we have learnt a lesson 15 for two courses in this climate should of been the biggest red flag, shame chains pubs dont take any pride in their work anymore wont be returning

Charging gourmet prices for bad microwaved food. Dont get the steak, dont get the pasta. The pizzas are fine. See image for the cheese-less microwaved mac and cheese. (Edit: they discounted the costs of all our mains without us really asking, it seemed they are aware of the problem. It seems they lost a chef)

Lovely waiting staff. But understaffed and overwhelmed on the BH. Ordered the set lunch menu, starters came promptly but mains took over 80 minutes to arrive and when they did, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Jalapeos was 3 lumps of burnt breadcrumbed tandoori chicken with cold fries, no salad. If its going to take 80 mins, the fries need to be at least warm. Feel for the staff who are being hamstrung by a terrible company. Mistakes all over the bill and tables across the pub and garden that hadnt been cleared since we arrived. Other times have had lunch and its been excellent, this time extremely disappointing

We booked this restaurant to celebrate a birthday! It was very disappointing! The restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night (29 April) could this be indicative of other disappointed diners before us? Based on how few people were there we were very surprised at how poor the service was as they were definitely not rushed off their feet! We were 4 couples and arrived in 2 groups. The first group already had drinks but no-one noticed the second group arrive or if they did they didnt come to see if we wanted drinks. We had to wave a waitress down and then it took a long time for the drinks to arrive. We constantly had to keep asking for things like water for the table, they didnt notice when we ran out of wine and didnt remove the empty bottles from the table. I think there was only one time that someone proactively come to check if we needed anything . The table we were seated at was glass topped and you could see it had been wiped because it was all smeared but it needed polishing off so that it looked and felt clean. The starters were all lovely but then it took an hour before our mains arrived. The food on the whole was tasty however the portion sizes were very small and to describe them as large plates is misleading, unless they are referring to the plate the food is served on! I had sea bass and it was only half a filet and a couple of stalks of broccoli with some crushed new potatoes. Two of our party had the pie and it was in a dish about 11cm in diameter. The filet steak didnt even look like steak! It had clearly been kept warm as it was bone dry on the outside and hard to cut through the crust that had formed, the chips were soggy and the onion confit not there! See photo! The pizza was awful , a shop bought pizza would have been better. The chicken ok but not enough veg. We all wanted to try the rhubarb and custard pavlova but this was not available as the rhubarb hadnt been delivered! They even gave us someone elses bill. Needless to say based on our experience last night we wouldnt recommend or return which is a shame as its a lovely venue.hopefully they will get a manager in there to lead the service . Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares springs to mind.

My partner and I visited for the 2nd time last Friday. I ordered the glazed pork and my partner ordered the pan fried chicken. Ive previously been here a few months back but wasnt impressed with the food quality and can say there has been a massive improvement in the quality. We contemplated returning but decided to give the place another try and we are happy to have received great food and customer service.
