The heart of the venue is a large barn that can cater for weddings and other events, to hold maybe 200 people sitting?
Inside the barn there is a bar, a stage and a few other facilities like an annexed room, toilets and storage.
There is a large garden and an adjoining field which must be great for summer events. Other features include a brook, some willow trees and a walled garden that complete the picture for a pleasant venue.
There are a few things that might make for an eyesore for some, like another business on the premises as you drive in, or some of the farming equipment.
But this is a convenient venue, tucked away between Stevenage and Hitchin and very easy to access from the motorway.
