Launton Grange Care Home

I am a new colleague here at Launton grange and the staff here have made me feel very welcome ,it is a pleasure to be a new member of the team. Launton grange is a nice place to work.

They are a very good care home, I highly recommend and they are one of the best care homes in bicester, they provide excellent care for their residents and the staff is very friendly

No Mentanance staff for the usually checks,no training for staff correctly done.... one thing is saying the trainer and..... the manager is incapable to apply the rules that are written in the training....Can t move from her chair No knowledge of fire alarm system.....No respect for staff or Equality Inclusion...The staff was complaining that the manager is asking to do more extrashifts but the payment was not done. The manager is doing discrimination

Ex employee at launton grange. Home manager used to pick and choose which rules applied to which staff members(1 rule for one person 1 for another) also used to choose which ones they'd support with their additional needs and then told me that they couldn't do anything to help me. Wouldn't recommend working here always understaffed and working at unsafe levels. Quality of care was difficult to give as there's was never enough staff. Activities were hardly ever on and when they were done never lasted very long. Carers were expected to be cooks after the chef went home at 5pm, set up for activities and complete these all while trying to care for way too many residents for the staff they have. Too many accidents could have been avoided if launton grange admitted to being too short staffed and stopped accepting more residents.(bear in mind we was told at one point no one was moving in as not enough staff but within a few days this went out the window) way too many cover ups happened at this home and then the carers were told not to say anything.I would NOT send your loved ones here!!!! Only a handful of carers were there for the residents others were lazy and tended to ignore many requests from residents. Disgusting home and I would not be surprised if this place was shut down soon.

Terrible care home. Wouldnt work here, always working understaffed at unsafe levels. Wouldnt send loved ones here if you do care for their well-being
