        The build quality of these homes is terrible, and the amenities won't be finished for years yet.

        The customer service and build planning are both poor on this development. I arranged to meet the Site Manager 2 weeks in advance in late March but the Site Manager wasn't there when I attended and the Head Labourer had to show me inside instead. He did a good job but some questions were beyond what he knew in his role. I also discovered that the detached garages of the Poplar 2's didn't have any electrical sockets and there wasn't an aerial cable to the kitchen. This is a failure on the part of the build planners, who could have planned to have both. On the whole, the no show at the viewing gave the impression that Bovis Homes at Waterside Place didn't value customers and any extra functionality of their houses were beyond design capabilities of the build planners.
