M&S Foodhall

M&S Foodhall, Bicester, has many pros: * Lots of parking. * Convenient location. * Pleasant, helpful staff (except the Bakery). * A wide range of non-organic products. * Some organic products. It also has a couple of cons: * Not enough organic products, especially meats (often there is no stock on items that M&S is supposed to sell). * Far too many items contain palm oil.

Limited choice of wider selections usually available. Some things sell out quickly. At last visit it was self service checkout only.

Great M&S food hall. Well stocked when we were there and we got everything we needed. The parking lets it down a bit, but thats not directly m@ss fault. The carpark was very busy around 1pm Sunday.

Reading the other reviews I'm not the only one who has experienced rude staff as well as limited till availability. This lunch time only one till was open which has a long queue and everyone else pushed to use self checkout. With a few items I don't mind but there is limited space around these self checkouts so I'm absolutely appalled that the lady coordinating the self checkout (at 11 am on fri the 17th of Feb) could see me struggling to juggle a toddler, a crying baby and trying to check out my groceries and instead of offering me some help, told me to move as my pram that I couldn't put anywhere else was taking up too much space. Will be taking my business to the large Tesco over the road.
