Shaun and his team recently laid a concrete base at my home in readiness for a new garden outbuilding. From the outset Shaun was friendly, knowledgeable and his quote was reasonable. The team arrived when they said they would and had the job completed well within the given time expectation. They left the site clean and tidy. I have, and will continue to recommend Shaun to anyone looking for any kind of building work to their home.

Shaun and his incredibly dedicated team were such an absolute pleasure to work with. They are timely, efficient, polite, considerate, hardworking, kind and friendly, always going the extra mile, and nothing was ever a problem - only solutions. We are so happy that we chose SGCS to transform our Victorian home. Shaun's partners and recommended suppliers are also brilliant (SG Electricals, Carlie for the kitchen painting, roofers, tilers). Shaun and his team did a kitchen extension and refit for us earlier this year and we are very happy with the job. Shaun was very professional and straightforward throughout, from the scoping and quote, through the build, to snagging etc at the end. I would be happy to recommend him. The job was project managed very smoothly, Shaun has a great team, including roofers, electricians, plumbers, plasterers, joiners, etc. All of the workmen were helpful, polite, clean, and most importantly excellent at their jobs. Our new kitchen looks fantastic, and is much admired. Shauns suppliers (sliding glass doors, worktops, etc.) were all very good. We have more plans for building works and will be working with Shaun again

Im not sure what to say.. Shaun and the SGCS team renovated our house and made it our dream home! And they somehow made it an enjoyable experience! From our initial meetings to the snagging at the end, nothing was too much effort. The project involved underpinning, a loft conversion, new roof, ground floor kitchen extension and reconfiguring most of the original internal walls. Overall the project ran extremely smoothly and stayed on budget with Shaun overseeing everything, anticipating issues early and overcoming them promptly. From the start of the project through to the end, Shaun was always available to us to answer any questions or worries that we had. We met regularly on site and he gave us frequent updates. All of which was very reassuring. Shauns team are also fantastic. They worked tirelessly throughout, regardless of the weather conditions and without complaint (even when I came up with one of my eccentric ideas or changed my mind about something at the last minute!). We were so impressed with the quality of workmanship in all aspects of the build. Shaun has a great relationship with both his plumber and electrician and he has a wealth of contacts for whatever you need. All of which added to our experience. Overall I can not fault Shaun and the SGCS team and would recommend them in a heartbeat. They made what could have been an extremely stressful experience into a project that was a lot of fun. It gave us something to look forward to in the midst of the pandemic and it has inspired my 6 year-old son to become a builder! Thank you Shaun and all those on your team.
