A & H Jones

This is a superb butchers and very well known locally. The range of fresh produce is immense. The freshly baked pies are good value as they are well filled. They also stock a good variety of cheeses too. Stocks, sauces, biscuits for cheeses, black pudding... I can't say enough good things about this place. The owners and team are friendly and knowledgeable, and also, if you like good banter, you can join in with that too. An exemplary shopping experience.

Recently visited A&H Jones butchers, have to say, simply outstanding quality Steaks so tender you could literally cut them with a butter knife Sausages were lovely, pork pie to die for and proper home cured bacon Great value for money Will be back soon

We made the journey across the Wye to visit A&H Jones based on the reviews listed here below, most notable one which read pies which will make you feel happy to be alive.* We were not disappointed. Everything from the sausages for our bbq, the ham and cheese for our sandwiches, the bacon for our breakfast and the milk for our tea as well as the pies for our lunch were all, not only great value, but absolutely delicious. *in contradiction of a fair scientific experiment, we were already pretty elated at our time spent away in Monmouthshire, but are definitely still very pleased to be alive!
