Went on national holidays mystery tour weekend. We ended up in blackpool at castle Norbreck Hotel. This hotel us disgraceful dirty and should be taken off the books. I know its a cheap cheerful break but this hotel scrapes the bottom of the barrel. We did not see one cleaner and to be honest there should have been there was a kebab in one of the corridors that had been there before we got there and wouldn't be surprised if still there 3 weeks later. Please look at trio advisor reviews you will see alot of bad experiences.

Poor customer service. They claim to have bought the company name of National Holidays but no financial responsibility of the company. Meaning they arent responsible for any vouchers by National Holidays, issued prior to them going bankrupt. I tried for 6 months to get through to themselves to try and re-validate or be refunded from a voucher I had previously bought for family. Since the voucher could not be used during the pandemic, and then became invalid once National Holidays declared they were going into administration. Only to be told it was my banks responsibility and not theirs. I have been bounced back and forth between my old current account providers. And various numbers from administration groups supposedly responsible. Seems to be an issue that no one wants to deal with. Even something as small a 50 voucher unable to be used. Simply reflects the company portraying actions as simple as holding their hands up and saying 'its not my problem'. This is not a good reflection of how this company handles its customers. Judging by other customer reviews, it doesn't surprise me. In my opinion, better off going elsewhere for your holiday.

I would have given no stars if I could. Myself, partner and our 2 girls had an overnight trip planned on the 3rd August with one of their companies. This morning my partner received a positive test result for covid. We contacted National Holidays to try cancel and book another at a later date. We were told this couldn't be done due to not having 6 weeks notice, even with insurance they require 2 weeks notice. Covid doesn't give you notice. Had a call back from a manager who offered 10 per person against another break. Totally unacceptable from a 400 break. The lack of understanding I find deplorable.
