James Fear - Cotswold Wedding Photographer

James is an incredibly talented photographer. He made us all instantly at ease and was constantly making us laugh. The photos he took were incredible, he captured every emotion of the day and caught some beautifully candid moments. Not a forced smile in sight. Our friends and family have been so complimentary of James, he really was such an important part of the day and the we will cherish the photos forever. Thank you James, you are a legend!

I dont think I could point out a negative from our experience with James! I put out the feelers on my social media about wedding photographers and our friend sent me a link to James Instagram - hed been a guest at a beautiful wedding shot by James. Ive honestly never sent an email so quickly! We had a Saturday wedding 12 months later and we knew he gets booked up so fast I didnt have high hopes tbh, I mentioned this in my email & I got a text within the hour saying Im bloody free! Email you in the morning. I was buzzing!!!! My next concern was price Id seen some crazy quotes on the web and thought surely his is going to be even more?? WRONG - most affordable of the lot!!!!!!!! Safe to say the same day we got the email we paid the deposit and secured the lad himself. With communication there on he was on it. No qualms getting to the venue and getting stuck in. We didnt actually meet him before the day but that wasnt an issue. Zero awkwardness, he had this way of instantly making everyone comfortable. Hairdresser, make up artist, florist and almost all of our guests made unprompted comments about how great he was! Even created a little healthy competition between the bridesmaids to get the best shot - and tried to get the stylists in the tub! Now I guess Ill mention the photos even better than we could have expected honestly. We had a few planned group shots but maximum 6-7 - just trust in his vision. We didnt expect him to shoot absolutely everything but he pretty much did and was able to perfectly catch the vibe of the day. From getting ready to the wedding party you can almost relive the day through the photos. The day goes so fast it becomes a blur and looking back triggers so many memories. He snapped moments that we didnt know he caught, and as bride and groom there are moments you dont know are happening that he caught too . I dont think there is a guest who we dont at least have one photo of, posing or candid. He must be bored of hearing it but we didnt think we were photogenic or photo people and the idea of having hundreds of photos where were the focus was a gross one. Were obsessed with them and over a year later still look at them all the time. Ill stop gushing now looooool but basically if youre thinking about booking him dont sleep on it. James - cant thank you enough mate, if you havent already figured out. Kinda a shame well only get married once bc Id book you again in a heartbeat Cant muck it up!!!!!!

James is the best photographer out there. His photos keep the memories of our wedding alive and he kept us all feeling comfortable and fun on the day. Thanks James!

James was everything we could have asked for as our wedding photographer. He has given us the perfect physical memories of our wedding day and we could not recommend him enough. We loved how he interacted with all of our guests and worked hard to make sure that people were relaxed whilst having their picture taken. He captured our guests and loved ones in a way which we will treasure forever. Everyones personalities shine through so truly in all of his images and every photo is so full of life that looking at the album gives us all the feels of living our wedding day over again.
