Frederic has been my personal trainer for the past 6 months, after I approached him in relation to a medical problem as I needed a drastic change in my lifestyle. He is a knowledgeable and experienced trainer who genuinely cares about his clients, and tailors the sessions to their specific age, medical or physical condition. Over the course of my training, he has created a detailed exercise plan that meets my specific needs, and has taught me that a very important part of achieving great results is not only to train your body, but also your mindset. Because of this, I feel healthier, more energized, and my mental discipline has been transformed. I couldn't be any more grateful. I feel that an important part of the success of this training has been the gradual increase of complexity over time, introducing new exercises that build up from a starting point that is manageable regardless of your fitness level, allowing you to work towards overcoming your own previous best instead of failing to reach unobtainable goals. As I travel a lot, Frederec has also been able to do virtual training sessions with me, which has allowed me to maintain a regular training schedule. When doing so, he has tailored another specific set of exercises for the times I cannot use the facilities of the Leisure Center, so that I feel confident and able to work on my own. I have Parkinson's Disease. Training with Frederic has been a complete 'game changer ' for me. Frederic has made a real and genuine effort to understand my disease and it's problems, and as a result is making a huge difference to my life. PD causes stiffness, ridgidity, pain and depression. All of these are 80% reduced or gone altogether. The AlterG treadmill is amazing, and the boxing training is designed specifically to meet my needs. 10/10 recommended. P.s. He's good company too.

Exercise is really beneficial if you have PD, but knowing what exercise to do with a wonky leg and wonky arm is difficult. Frederic is very knowledgeable about PD and quickly spots what areas need working on, so training with Frederic is tailored to your own individual needs. It could be working with a medicine ball to get your arms moving or boxing for balance or running on the Alter G treadmill, which is fantastic. The training is varied and fun - and it is so beneficial. The stiffness in my arm is much reduced and the intensity of training is always spot on, so you finish feeling you have had a good training session, but haven't over done it. Frederic makes training so much fun and it feels good to be doing something positive.
