This charity doesn't seem to spend very much on its causes, looking at their accounts it all goes on salaries and pensions, 1.2million and they are really small! One Trustee claimed 6 in expenses - really?! I think their association with Prince Harry will affect their support, having read his book I wouldn't want to support anything he is connected with. It's about time the Charity Commission really investigated charities that perform this badly.

Could never support a charity that associates with a woman that has bullied a 3 year old child

I could not in good conscience support a charity that has aligned themselves with a celebrity who has allegedly bullied Princess Charlotte.

They have been amazing helping me during this lockdown with PPE. I was struggling to purchase PPE for my carers to use when they come twice daily, they sent me out some gloves, aprons, masks and hand gel. By having this PPE I can be certain that if any of my carers from the company my local council authority uses, I will be safe if they forget any of their companies provided PPE or if they can't get it all due to the shortages. Amazing service and would recommend WellChild to anyone.

The CEO Colin Dyer is extremely unprofessional having contacted a national newspaper to make defamatory and derogatory remarks about a former member of staff whom he had never met and did not know. He confirmed to that person that he had the authorisation and support of the Trustees and Patron to make the remarks. So, the next time Prince Harry starts banging on about mental health issues he may wish to remember that he and his staff were instrumental in the breakdown of a previous member of staff.
