Accolade Support and Care Ltd

Accolade cared for my mum in her home from August 2020 till October 2021 ,when she then had to go into a nursing home as her care needs changed. I cannot recommend this company enough. They were kind, caring and made sure all my mums need were met. When my sister and I were so were so emotionaly and physically exhausted, the girls did extra shifts to help us out. Choosing a care company for my Dads care was a daunting task for us, but after 17 years of seeing my Mum turn from a wife to a full-time carer we reached the sad realisation that my Dad needed either full time residential care or for us to reach out for help. As we had always promised my Dad that he would never go into a home we knew we had to explore other options. Thankfully, we found Accolade who have quite frankly been amazing. They have not only provided the utmost care, attention and dignity to my Dad, but they have given emotional support and eased the physical demand on my Mum. All the carers are incredibly kind and considerate and really go the extra mile. I cannot speak highly enough of Accolade and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone considering home care.

We have had the pleasure of Accolade supporting us with Dad's care for nearly a year now and they have been nothing short of brilliant. It was a big decision to ask for external help. We wanted to find an organisation that we could work together with in the best interests of Dad. We needed to feel like we could be honest and build a trusting relationship and everyone in the family believes we have found that in Accolade. I began working for Accolade about 6 months ago now, the whole team including the staff and management have been very welcoming and are a friendly bunch of people! All members of staff are just as caring and respectful to each other as they are to the clients. I joined Accolade with very little experience of the care sector and have been given superb training to get me up to speed and feel confident in the workplace, I've always felt at ease asking any questions big or small about anything. The staff go above and beyond for the clients and I am honored to be a part of the team. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that you've made a positive difference to someones day.

I have been fortunate enough to work for Accolade Support and Care for nearly two years. From the Director, Care Managers to the Support Workers, I can honestly say I have never known such a group of dedicated and genuinely caring people. The culture and ethos of the company, led from the leadership, is truly what person centred care is all about. I can not see myself working anywhere else.
