There is something CCP are brilliant at: to make themselves look good online and to attract workers, you would think that if you are a caring person and want to make a difference, this is the place to go. I am afraid is the opposite. The process since you apply, are called to an interview to the actual starting day, took more than two months. There is one week of training every day, then asking for documents that none would have, for instance a DBS issued for a company you worked 7 years ago, never in my life I have been asked for something like that but "the pannel" needed to see the document so this took at least 10 days of arguments after I have passed my interview, CBS and done all the training. After that, shadowing shifts. None of the previous including the shadowing shifts are paid until you work a shift on your own (lone working with very troubled and vulnerable youg people), which was very daunting as the induction is poor (since you shadow an overworked superbusy member of the staff that hardly has time to explain anything). You deal with teenagers with a lot of issues and is nice to be part of that project that has the potential of being great if they had good managment, but this is the main issue. The micromanaging is beyond belief, all staff revolving around a certain person's mood. Extremely difficult to work in those conditions and under the direction of someone that isnt obviously fit for their post. The shifts are 8 hours, CCP pay for 7.5 as they don't pay for 30 minutes break. All good, the problem is that is LONE working so you don't have a chance to take any break, there is none on shift to cover your 30 minutes break, so you are actually working 30 minutes for free. I requested HR to explain how we take the unpaid break whilst lone working... I have no answer. A colleague was exposed to an extremely dangerous situation, left in a flat without security, no cctv, looking after a very aggressive unstable person. They had no support after a traumatic situation. I have nothing positive to say. This company should invest more in staff safety and wellbeing instead of investingo in looking good in ads and taking down negative reviews. Just don't apply, dont make that mistake. If I had to choose a place for a vulnerable teenager to live, it would not be CCP for sure. Thanks for reading.

I contacted this organisation because I have severe mental illness and needed help filling in benefit forms. I gave all my contact details and was told someone would contact me shortly to help me get the forms in before the DWP cut my money. After almost two weeks I had heard nothing from them. I called back and was told they didn't help with forms and I would need to go to citizens advice for support with them . Since waiting for help from CCP I have had my benefits stopped and iam now homeless without money for food. DO NOT donate money to this organisation because they are totally incompetent and utterly useless.
