Hatherley Park

I feel blessed to have this as my local park, perfect for dog walking. Something of a hidden gem with a lovely undulating part at one end, a small lake with ducks, children's play area, a football pitch, boules court and the lovely Butterfly Box serving drinks, ice creams etc. The name of which, I presume comes from the Wendy Craig/Geoffrey Palmer sitcom 'Butterflies', many scenes of which were shot in the park the the exterior of their home being in an adjacent street. This park is very well maintained by the volenteers of The Friends of Hatherley Park.

Stunning local park with childrens play area and coffee van! A large open space for dogs/children to run around but lots of shaded spots in the nature reserve section.
