Half of the lights don't work, the markings are none existent, yet you are required to park within them. Just a terrible, dingy car park that costs a lot to use.

Car park an absolute joke. Charges 7 to park this is down to the rip off merchants apaco parking. No security cameras that work. Worst car park for break ins. Machines to pay for parking never work so you have to ring apaco parking and have the audacity to put on an extra charge. One of the noisiest and horrible places I have ever stayed in. Do yourself a favour and don't stay here. The staff are quite friendly though

USE THIS HOTEL AND CAR PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK! On the 24th and 25th of July 2019 I stayed at the Travelodge in Cheltenham and used one of your APCOA car parks (GL51 6TA) for both nights. May I note this car park charges 5 per 24 hours for Travelodge users. On the evening of the 24th I arrived at approximately 7.45pm and parked my car out of the way of other vehicles as I try to avoid any damage to my vehicle from other car park users. (I want to make clear that there was no other vehicles parked within at least 3 spaces around my entire car and I had an electrical substation to the right of my car). I purchased a ticket for my first nights stay and observed the signs stating the rules of the car park - most notably the rule that YOU MUST PARK WHOLLY WITHIN AN AUTHORISED, MARKED PARKING BAY. On return to my car in the morning, I was completely blocked in by four Route One commercial vehicles. Three of these vehicles coincidentally were NOT parked in designated and marked bays. I required to urgently leave to attend a wedding and I had asked the supervisor at the Travelodge whose vehicles they were and if they could be moved. After a short while, he returned stating he didnt know whose vehicles they were and couldnt be moved. I had to leave for the wedding and in turn whilst trying to avoid every possible damage to my vehicle, I was left with damage to my drivers side front alloy wheel where it had come into contact with the kerb. This would not have occurred if the said vehicles were not incorrectly parked in the car park and I could have reversed out. The only direction I could go was forward, where there was a angled square kerb. I acknowledge that I caused the damage to my alloy wheel but this was only due to the misuse of the car park by other users. I accepted into my side of the contract by purchasing a car parking ticket and following the car park rules set out on the various signs around the car park. You, APCOA, have subsequently not followed your terms of the contract by not policing the car park and allowing car park misuse by other motorists and you are therefore liable. I am extremely disappointed and angered at the fact the parking of the Route One commercial vehicles was not satisfactory according to the rules of the car park and therefore I am seeking compensation from you, APCOA, the owner of the car park, for the damage caused to my alloy wheel. On the morning of the 26th I took extra photos showing different vehicles (although the same company - Route One) parking again not using the correct bays and therefore misuse of the car park. Had anyone else parked in the same car park bay that I had used the previous evening, they would have been blocked in too. So to summarise - please use this hotel AND car park at your own risk! They are completely unwilling to help or take any liability for the complete mis-management of THEIR car park, yet I have been told it isn't their car park, nor Travelodge's. I was told that they can't control where people park, but would happily fine you if a member of public or hotel guest blocked the entrance to the car park. DO NOT USE THE AREA OF THE CAR PARK AT THE FAR LEFT BEHIND THE HOTEL - YOU WILL GET BLOCKED IN! I, for one, will NEVER use Travelodge, or, APCOA car parks ever again.
