Absolutely disgusting company- especially the healthcare team. One member was caught out on lies, yet wasnt dealt with and the other is sarcastic and rude. Hays has really gone down hill since the long term staff have left. They refused to pay a weeks wage of 450 and thats due to a worker who lied. Their manager is one of the flakiest men Ive come across, never does what he says and will just hide from the issue at hand (all proof via email). After almost 4 years at hays, what a complete waste of time. Promised things they could never fully deliver. If you want a good agency go with- Take Five healthcare Dean healthcare Wolf healthcare These are they agencies I used when I needed staff for shifts, even whilst working for Hays! I never used Hays agency to staff Care facilities. Heads up for anyone that plans on leaving hays- they wont give you a good reference or they will deny you ever working for them. Keep all your correspondence with Hays! Paper trail is key.

Had a great experience with the recruiters, specifially James. I was looking for a job in accounts and he was prompt with his responses and got me 3 interviews within a week. I found the service very sufficent and got a response whenever I rang the phone. The more I communicated and called them for queries on job roles, the easier it became to land a job.

I wasn't impressed to say the least. Hays are so big and they do not seem to want to do their jobs, to their own professional standard, when all my imformation is in my CV and personal statement. It was as if I was 18 years old again, had just left school, with no work experience. It didn't matter what qualifications I had, I might lie or miss out relevant information on my CV (so I was told). Having gained a degree, where we are taught how to write a CV. Why would someone in my professional capacity be dishonest? I left without completing any forms as I do not feel they were being very professionals especially as to my concerns in being paid by a third party, instead of being directly paid by themselves. How as a supply teacher you loss at least 33% of your earners, not to mention 6 a week for your salary to be paid into your bank account. I would have to full in my own time sheets oh because I might lie again in leaving work early. A professionsl teacher gives more than what they earn even as a supply. What does it matter? I am simply one person who had questions and raised their concern and all I want to do is be a teacher.

AVOID! Signed up in January to be told I could start as early as 2 weeks 1 month later still waiting. Then my allocated person 'eve' was giving me avaliable shifts and booked me on my first shift whilst still at my full time job. She said she would guarantee I would get full time hours. I had my notice ready for my work to be able to start my working and emailed her with the date I can start and the shifts I wanted. I had no reply I even emailed another colleague with no reply so. I emailed and said I'm no longer interested its to risky to leave my stable job to come to a job where I don't even no if I can have those shifts. Then 1 week later I had a call from a guy telling me that Eve had left so he is taking over. I told him I'm not interested it so unprofessional no one told me she was leaving not even herself I said I'm no longer interested and don't want any shifts as it's so unreliable and unprofessional. I was looking forward to starting my new career.i then get a call from out of hours asking me why I didn't turn up for my first shift. Absolutely joke.
