I now have a field jacket, Sunday shirt, heavy wool cardigan and some scarfs from &SONS. To be frank I love them all. Really impressed with the after sales communication spot on &SONS keep it up.

Great products for the fella, who likes clothing that has a well-made retro, work feel, and which is largely made in Britain. The store is quite small, but it is great to go and take a look at items you can then order from the company's online store if you can't get them in your size in the physical shop. In person or online, there is a good awards scheme based on points accumulated in various ways - following on various social media, making purchases, etc. (see the company website for details). I love the products sold here, and I look forward to my next visit.

Strong items include their henleys & chinos as flagship examples, however the sizing of their products can be inconsistent. For example buying three garments of the same size in different colours having some differences in fit. The pricing is also very high, perhaps even unjustifiably so. Sizing can be a bit off for some of their garments, and a lack of any inbuilt size-gauging applications on their website means you can run into unsuitable sizing which leads me into the next point. Also worth mentioning &SONS don't cover the cost of returns (while many reputable brands do), which reduces consumer confidence somewhat. If their sizing is inconsistent and they don't collect data on sizes for their products, they can't relay general sizing info to their potential customers. Their ungenerous return window of 14 days is half that of many of their competitors, too. Taking retro inspiration from the likes of Steve McQueen is commendable, but execution is key to make sure they follow through with their vision.
