I rented from them for roughly 10 months. During this time a leak happened due to a burst pipe nearby the floor of the bathroom. The letting agency was incredibly slow and disorganized in managing the leak causing distress to me and my neighbor. The leak happened as I was on holiday abroad, when I came back the flat was in a desperate condition due to the work that were ongoing. The damp carpet from the hallway was removed exposing the rotten boards and left in the living room, the light fitting was lying in a corner, there was a hole in the ceiling and the bathroom was left with dirt all over the place left by the people carrying out the repair work. Despite this, the flat was considered fit to live in by the letting agency. It took more than two and half weeks (and a number of emails and phone calls) to convince the agency to send someone to come back and clean up, meanwhile the repairs were being carried out. They came back and cleaned up in two stages, as the first time the forgot to pick up the damp carpet lying in the living room. Overall they were very unresponsive and disorganized. I do not recommend them.

Current tenant. The team are very efficient at getting your money at the start. Polite over email but they could not care less about sorting any problems unless there is imminent damage to the property.

Absolutely 0 stars. My partner and I were tenants with Kensington Lettings and thankfully didnt have much to do with them during our tenancy as it was managed by a private landlord who was great. However the process of trying to get the deposit back was catastrophically bad. Their communication is worse than awful. We had to chase them to get our check out report. When this finally came through we were offended with the language used and had to question if they were talking about the same property. They will not budge from their opinion when challenged - thats if you ever hear back from them! We had to chase multiple times with emails and phone calls before hearing anything back to each email. They are rude (with the exception of one gentleman who answered one of our calls in the office) and they dont sign off their emails so you dont know who you are talking to. If you are unfortunate enough to be a tenant with Kensington Lettings - Im sorry and good luck. Landlords - if you want respectful and happy tenants then dont use Kensington Lettings.
