        My friend tried to visit with their mother to buy a fascinator and wasn't allowed in, they'd added a sign to the door saying "appointments only" told to come back in 4 days time, no offer of further assistance, advice or the offer of an appointment. Products look nice from the window, but service gives the "mean retail worker" from Pretty Woman vibes.

        My daughter and I visited Silks on Friday. I was looking for a Mother of the Bride outfit and had an amazing experience. Jane was absolutely marvellous, she was so friendly and I was so impressed with her knowledge. She knew exactly what dress would suit me after just a short consultation. Needless to say I chose the first dress I tried on. I cannot recommend Silks highly enough, especially Jane. Thank you.
