I went in for eye surgery seven days ago and I cannot thank the staff and Doctors enough. They were incredible. In the Eyford day unit-Dr Ferris, Rina, Cecile Emma, and Anna all went above and beyond to make my day go so easy! I would definitely suggest something apart from toast though after surgery though! It took me 45 minutes to eat maybe ice cream next time!

Visited fracture clinic this morning for removal of cast, x-ray, and consultant appointment. Start to finish the process was incredibly efficient, with almost no waiting time between the steps. All staff were super helpful and friendly, which made the visit really quick and pleasant.

I was unable to access A&E, College Rd at c.23.30 on the 25/03/23 with what was quite a serious problem, although I could see 20+ patients in the A&E reception. I then tried the main College Rd, entrance - closed and locked, so then walked to the entrance on Sandford Rd, - closed and locked. I returned to the main A&E. Still unable to get in, a door opened and what I thought was a patient leaving A&E following treatment came out. I asked how to get in, and she asked what my problem was. I explained what was what, and discovered at now midnight she was a Doctor finishing her shift, having started at 09.00 that day -14 hours earlier!! She refused to leave me until access was gained. She took me to the 3 access points I'd already tried but all still locked and closed! She then made a 'phone call, and spoke to someone who said to return to the original A&E door and he/she would meet us there, which thy did. I think I was then 'fast tracked', into a treatment room, and received VIP treatment. I just want to thank the (Junior possibly - mid 20's) Doctor who was Australian, for her help and kindness, and absolute refusal to leave me until things were sorted. Whilst writing, another thank you to the nursing staff, and Dr. Phil Davies in A&E for their exceptional professionalism.

Brought in my wife last night. Wait time was a little long BUT the nurses and doctors were very kind and attentive to my wife. Special shout-out to Nurse Kim, Donna and Lisa who where constantly supporting us with the upmost kindness.
