Dr J Ropner - Berkeley Place Surgery

I totally disagree with this patient. This is the worst GP Surgery I've ever experienced.

My family has been registered at this surgery for about 30 years now and even though there have been changes of medical and administrative teams over the years, I personally have always felt very well looked after. I feel that my doctors genuinely cares for my well being and this makes me feel secure in times where I most need it. Thank you

This morning I received a call from Dr. Ropner relating to my vaccination RFI and I was overwhelmed with the thorough and diligent information provided to the point where I felt guilty for taking up 09m 45s of NHS time which in different context could have taken 02m perhaps. I will repeat my comment relayed directly in the call ... the experience reinvigorated my belief in the value of public health and the NHS (not that I ever lost belief) ... it was like an adrenaline shot (no pun intended). Maybe my views are out of step but I do not see the NHS as "a service" in the same way as a restaurant where we quite rightly expect service in return for payment, but when the experience is as described, it seems that we need to reconcile our position as patients not "consumers of services" where professionals are measured by poorly aligned metrics not human and professional values ... brilliant job and privileged to be registered with the surgery
