For some reason there seem to be some sort of knocking noise coming from the engine since the visit. Never had it before and not sure if related to the fact that I had them looked at my brakes, but probably needs to be looked at later on elsewhere.
All in all, not great communication which may have been the respnsibility of both parties in parts, but I do wonder why they decided to swap out my good tyres. Unfortunately that means I will have to shell out extra cash for another pair of tyres which is not ideal.

Called them, they told me to stick a screw in the battery terminal to create a connection so I could drive to them, even when I told them it was flat. Then they said they would put shim's on the battery terminals as a long-term solution.
Not good at all.
