Spent 2 nights here with my young adult children to visit family, and would definitely stay again. Karen is a friendly and accommodating host, responsive to our needs. We loved the triple room with annex and garden view, and appreciated the private parking. The room and en-suite were spotless and the bath towels luxurious. Plenty of plugs for all our devices. Walking distance to shops, pubs, theater (loved the panto with Tweedy!). Excellent value for money.

One of the loveliest hosts you will find. Karen was amenable, professional and approachable with extensive knowledge of both the local scene and national affairs. Whilst the rooms are marginally on the small side, it had everything you'd need and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is very generous and you can top up your hearty English with cereals and yoghurt. I went with my two teenage children who are incredibly hard to please but they had no complaints which is saying something.
