I broke my ankle and was looking to get a medical accessory for a reasonable price that would help me be mobile while having a plaster on the foot and later on during the rehabilitation. I found Stride on and ordered the Orthomate which arrived the next morning. It is very easy to use and much more convenient than crutches. Could not be happier with it.

Very good all round. I requested the orthomate knee scooter as I had a plaster on one ankle and it was fantastic. The scooter enabled me to get to the loo, make beverages, cook and do essential housework without the worry of falling over. I think my arms would have packed up had I had to use crust or a frame and you simply cant do much if you have to hop about all the time. I think I wouldve been on antidepressants if I hadnt had this knee scooter. If you can afford 20 a week I think that would be a really good use of the money. It enables you to,do ordinary stuff safely. The staff at Stride On were very helpful and the delivery and return arrangements all went without a hitch. When I broke my foot I thought I would be stuck on the couch for the next 6 weeks, but with the Stride On Knee Scooter I was able to keep my plans. With a bit of practice around my house and learning to use public transportation- as I've always been a car person- I have been able to not only keep my plans but have amazing adventures. I live in Wiltshire and with the aid of my knee scooter I was able to travel to London and Paris! It helped me keep my foot off the ground, no weight-bearing at all. The scooter is fun too- can move quickly especially down hill. Luckily it has a well made hand break so I am always in control. I met lots of people who had never seen one. I was more than happy to tell them all about it, give them a card and answer all their questions- some people even took photos. I'm also a mother of two daughters, 3 and 7, so getting around and helping them has been a must. I'm so grateful to the company for being so easy to hire from and communicate with as I needed to add 2 weeks, and then another added week to my original booking. Thank you much!

Amazing bit of kit for long term non weight bearing foot problems. Don't know how I'd have managed without it, it gives you your independence back which was important to me. The team at Strideon are very helpful & friendly. Thank you
