Really clean. Can do a wash in 35 mins and they do come out lovely! Driers are good value and dry fast. Bring lots of pound coins if outside of the volunteer staff hours as their change machine was ripped of the wall by some yobs! The volunteer lady i spoke to when i popped in was lovely and helpful, very cheerful and knew all the regulars. 5 a self service wash 1 buys 7.5 mins drying.

Its Saturday morning at 8.30am. Ive come in and used 2 dryers for a total of 15 minutes. Im the only person in here and The attendant has been so rude to me Im furious!! Firstly, she pounced on me as soon as I walked in to lecture me about her new sign informing customers that you cannot use the dryers in the morning unless agreed. After a few moments of her barking at me, I managed to ask her if it was ok and she agreed, as I proceeded to place my stuff in the dryer she continued her rant about how people dont read the signs and that theyve seen an increase of people just coming in to dry clothes. ITS A LAUNDERETTE!!! ITS WINTER!!! Thats a service you are supposed to supply, Theres a crisis about the cost of living. Ive dried a weeks worth of washing for 4. That wouldnt happen indoors! I appreciate services washes take priority (but as I said nobody was in and she wasnt doing any at the time!) As I went to take a seat opposite the dryers she barked at me again assuming that would be leaving my drying unattended. I lost it at her then. Told her she wasnt being friendly and that people dont need to be belittled, told off and lectured at when they are just trying to do a daily task. Honestly, this may seem like I am being overly sensitive but she was so unnecessarily rude. I left after my 15 minutes- still nobody in the launderette- just the miserable old goat and her signs. Wont be going back.
