Chelsfield Surgery

As a family we have been with this surgery for 25 years, never had a problem until Covid, since then. It is impossible to book an appointment (less than 6 weeks in advance). Phone ringing for 38 minutes on 6 occasions with no response . We only book appointments occasionally, but now we are being redirected to an and e for a problem which could be resolved with a prescription.

Normally the receptionist can take some time to answer calls but I just sat there for 45 mins of just ringing and no one picked up so I just gave up! Booking appointments use to be fairly easy but it's a challenge now.

I called this morning to book 2 appointments, one for me and one for my daughter. I was given 1 appointment and told that we would both be seen at the same time, when on arrival i explained this to the doctor and she quite rudely refused to even see me. I got rather upset which she had no compassion for me and said she was way too busy. I've never had a problem here so i find this quite upsetting and in so much anger.

The care I and my family receive at Chelsfield Surgery is exemplary. I was diagnosed with an uncommon long term illness in 2013. If it wasn't for Dr Ravi and Dr Grover's determination and perseverance to find out what was causing my symptoms I don't believe I would be here today. The support, care and compassion I received at the time of diagnosis, surgery and treatment was marvellous, as it continues to be. The reception staff always try to be accommodating and during the pandemic the level of professionalism they showed is to be commended. The hard working nursing staff are attentive and always put you at ease. I can't thank the doctors and staff at Chelsfield Surgery enough.
