I arrived at the salon and was shown straight into the room. I had booked the Dermaplaning facial included Masque.
I felt the room wasnt very inviting/relaxing, no music, lots of banging and crashing and smell of stale smoke. The lady asked if I had this treatment before which I had, so I knew what to expect. I was surprised how quickly she did it, an hours treatment and the Dermaplaning was done after around 5 minutes. I then had a mask on for 5 minutes and the rest of the remanding time I had a LED face mask on and was left in the room. I feel when youre giving a treatment, sitting on your phone wasnt very professional. At the end I felt I was asking her why I had the mask and what it did etc, rather than be explained. There was also no aftercare advice.
I then get home and was surprised to see how much peach fuzz was left around my face (a whole area was missed). I called and was asked to send photos in, which I did straight away. I then get told that it isnt a shave and you may not always get the hair because the naked eye cant always see it all. I could clearly see after and so could everyone else in my family. This was the whole point of the treatment?! To remove peach fuzz?! I also wonder why they asked for a photo of my face if I sent it and get told that its normal to miss and not get it all?! I was offered 10 off a next treatment which I find an insult. I was not invited back in to discuss further why I wasnt happy, or to redo, or a refund. The replies are very defensive so no doubt I will receive another one here. Its a shame to have to leave a review rather than try to resolve first. I do not want 10 off a treatment, I want the treatment I paid for to be done properly.
