        Unusually, not a good experience! Tables cleaned with a strong smelling bleach product that made the restaurant t constantly smell like a swimming pool. Drinks forgotten despite chasing up twice & toast burnt. Did not complain as visiting for a birthday brunch and did not want to make a scene. Could do better Im afraid.

        The staff at A Canteen are lovely and accommodating. I was a bit late for my booking but they still allowed me to order from the brunch menu. The food was brought quickly Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is very accommodating to children with safe, high chairs and crayons given to children to colour in their menus
