Applied for a job then got a phone call and with that all the job details sounded perfect for me. I then got sent all emails to register with this company and I was all ready to go. I heard nothing from them for a few days so got in contact to see what was going on and to my amazement the job had been filled. So I was left waiting for nothing, if I hadn't of rung them up i don't think they would have contacted me. So unprofessional and waste of time

I have worked doing supply teaching with Randstad on and off since 2010. Since Jake Hancock moved from secondary to primary consultant things have improved and the treatment I have received from the agency has made me feel a valued member of the team despite working only part-time. He's always in touch asking for feedback and listening to anything the teachers have to say. During lockdown, as soon as he was back at work he called us all to make sure we were ok and started talking about September, how to prepare for it and arranging interviews for me. I work with another agency and I haven't spoken to anybody there since March. Supply teaching can be a lonely job and having an agency that talks to you as a human being rather than a mercenary with just a job to do makes you feel valued and improves your performance. I'm starting a new job in September and I hope to be treated as well as I have been this past year. Thank you Jake and keep doing things the same way! I'd definitely recommend to work with Randstand to all the supply teachers out there.
