I had a great experience dealing with Dan and Hayley who not only organised my mortgage for me but also helped me deal with the sellers solicitors who were being very difficult. Their support didn't end with my mortgage approval, they went on to help me right up until completion. They were always on hand and happy to answer any questions I had. We were referred to Daniel at Mortgage Advise Bureau after being frustrated by the bank with its inflexibility and minibudget effects. He understood our financial status, discussed available options with all the pros and cons then acted above and beyond to find us the best option. I wanted to find someone who could help me obtain a residential mortgage on a house in Chelmsford and remortgage my property in London. I had spent quite a lot of time talking to different mortgage advisors before being recommended Dan. He was able to give excellent advice that was in line with my own thinking, and I was struck by his friendliness and approachability. He takes time to explain any intricacies in the process and he was always quick to correspond if he needed anything from us, or if there was anything that needed our input. In our case in particular, he told me early on that the property was of non-standard construction, and thanks to this, I was able to renegotiate the price. My partner and I were super desperate to get out of shared ownership and buy a house for ourselves on full mortgage. We have never sold a flat before, and never had to offer on a house, so we were completely lost in the process. Balgores recommended us to Dan, and while I thought to myself, "ah, another mortgage adviser, I'm so sick of hearing the same things over and over again", we still went ahead with the appointment. Needless to say, Dan was super fun, charming and sharp, and showed us in the first 3 minutes of our conversation that he would be the best choice for us. Proved me wrong big time - he wasn't yet "another boring appointment". He was the best part of the whole, draining process. Dan gave us lots of tips, advised us about various things, and gave us the highest and BEST DIP out of the 6 mortgage advisers I spoke to previously. At one point, our first purchase fell through due to an issue on the top of the chain, and he moved every rock to find out what would be the best option for us. We ended up pulling out, and making an offer for another house - also with the help of Dan. We now live in our beautiful new home, all thanks to Dan. Couldn't recommend him enough!
