Edit - The Team Leader was in touch and resolved the matter. Extremely please with how this was handled. Thank you! - Was so happy to be purchasing my first home with Birketts behind me. That was until tonight when I realised my solicitor had left the company promptly after exchanging contracts for us without any communication of her leaving or to who our case would be passed onto. Now I have no idea what updates we have missed and have no one to answer my questions in the weeks leading up to completion. A great company until now

Birketts take pleasure in making their clients' lives miserable. Before you can even begin a conveyancing transaction you need to provide piles of statements, documents and go through ridiculous ID checks and jump moronic hurdles. You will have a much better experience going through a small local firm with whom you can develop a personal relationship, rather than this faceless and huge corporation.
