Quadrant Department Store

We went to the mens department to look for a waistcoat. But with Waynes help we bought a three piece suit and a shirt. He was very helpful and professional. Also very patient as the suit was for my 80 year old Fianc to wear at our wedding. My Fianc was a bit doubtful as the suit was a bit more modern than he usually wears. Wayne was very helpful in finding the right sizes for my Fianc to try on and gave valuable advice as to what size would be the best. Wayne made suit buying a very easy and pleasant experience.

Nice store and I hope popular after the loss of Debenhams further down in the High Street. Didnt go to shop but to have lunch in the cafe upstairs. Very nice food and selection. Obviously very popular with the older shoppers. Felt at "home". Revisited today 9/4/22, to look for a piece of material to make a cover for a seat pad. Wow I struck lucky in the curtain department. A basket full of curtain samples for 1 a piece provided me with just what I was looking for. I think maybe people dont realise what a treasure trove this shop is. I wandered round various departments including the furniture department. What a fabulous selection of sofas, tables & chairs and other items are available. I'll definitely be paying another visit when I need to find just the right thing. Plus they have a sale on now ! 27/3/23 Went through store to go to the Brambles Restaurant on 1st floor. Nice lunch of Quiche, roast potatoes and peas. Like this restaurant, pleasant staff and good food.

I really like the coop good quality products and the feel of a proper department store. Cafe food is excellent and value fir money, an asset to chelmsford
