I took a dress in to have it taken up 3 inches and I asked for a quotation and the man looked at it and said 45.00. I was very taken aback and embarrassed at the price and thanked the male and advised I would have to decline from having it done as I couldnt actually afford that. The man said ok and good luck in finding somewhere cheaper.
I had to go elsewhere and I had my dress altered at a reputable dry cleaners who professionally altered it and charged me 18.00.
