From the outside and social media Blooms Beauty Academy looks the part. Its behind the scenes that really brings this academy down. I can only speak on the nail courses they offer. I would advise anyone who is looking to get into the beauty Industry to do your research on the company and who is running the company before you pay out for the courses they offer, check accreditation with the company they state they are accredited by and ensure you are doing this prior to payment. Blooms out source their nail trainers which is fine, however having 2 trainers leave the academy with a couple moths of each other tells me there is something going on. During the time I attended the academy they had 2 different trainers who were told by the managers they are not to give students their social media or personal contact number therefore unable to provide any support after the training. The communication from the owners is very sparse if you want to know specifics (like proof of their accreditation) The training equipment provided is of sub par quality. - Bottles of gel so poorly looked after it can no longer be opened - acrylic brushes that are such poor quality you cannot pick up a bead - lack of basic equipment and needed to do the course (1 bottle of base gel & 1 bottle of top coat between 4 students) - No evidence of equipment being sterilised between prior to a new course starting - The list could go on. Due to the experience I had with Blooms Beauty Academy I would not recommend this academy for anyone trying to get into the beauty industry, more specifically the nail industry.
