        Its very shambolic that HSBC is closed in Chelmsford high street. Overall I have seen significant decline in the HSBC bank customer services when ever visit the branches. I felt that they discourage the customers to visit branch in person.

        Was going to enquire about opening an account after I changed a ten pound note up. Left stunned by the female member of staff who asked if I was a customer of theirs and when I replied no, she asked me who I was with and gave me directions to go and get the 10 changed up. Don't think I'll bother banking with them now!
