        Visited Halfords Chelmsford today 14.4.23. The 5 stars are for the service I received in store, NOT the online experience and Halfords policy regarding booking a cycle service which is very frustrating. I attempted to book a minor brake cycle service online but you first have to book a free cycle check and consultation then based on your first visit you book another visit to have the work carried out. Who has the time to make two visits to Halfords for a cycle service? I decided any way to drive to Halfords to make some purchases. Served by Les Who is a keen cyclist and a top guy. Very knowledgeable about products and cycles. Very impressed with cycle service dept in store. Got a good discount as a member of Cycling UK.
