Photographic Day

Had an amazing day, weather was perfect. Anthony was a brilliant teacher; he made the information easy to understand and digest. It was then wonderful to be able to apply this new found knowledge in practice in a beautiful location! Thoroughly enjoyed my day

I found the Studio at Pin Mill about 18 months ago when I had just received my first ever 'proper' camera. I went on Anthony's beginners course and was so glad I did! I started to learn how to use my camera properly. I have friends who have been into photography for years and didn't know half the stuff I learned on my first day! A couple of months later I went back for the intermediate course which was equally inspiring. The small groups meant lots of one-to- one attention and Anthony creates a relaxed atmosphere where it is easy to ask questions and quickly gain confidence. I then attended the photoshop day which was a revelation! I'm not as IT literate as I should be but again Anthony was able to cater for a range of experience and capabilities. It's easy to feel stupid on such a course, especially if everyone else is zooming ahead but Anthony made sure everyone was challenged at their own level. I couldn't believe how much I learned in a single day. I have recently attended Anthony's Portrait Day which was amazing! A group of 4, so again lots of individual tuition. Can't wait to try out all my new skills! Can't recommend this guy highly enough. He goes the extra mile to be helpful and is not only an amazing photographer but a great teacher too. Now saving up for another course!

I was given a photographic day as a gift from colleagues - really glad they chose Anthony. He has an awesome portfolio and gave me some really helpful pointers to go away and experiment with. He doesn't bog you down too much with the details, and is more about getting the basics right so that the foundations of photograph composition are solid. This should really take my photography up a notch, thanks.

I would highly recommend the photographic courses. I attended the beginner and intermediary sessions, followed by a 1:1 lesson. Anthony is extremely patient and helpful and explains everything in a very easy to understand way. I have learnt so much and will definitely be putting all the knowledge to great use. Thanks
