We visited the lakes yesterday and was a great days fishing. 11 carp to 22lb caught between us both. Well maintained fisheries with a good tackle shop. We was the only ones fishing and put onto the fish by the manager. Only issue that ruined the day was late bite time, we both just had couple each about 5:50pm and excited to get the robs back for the last hours, but we was asked to go at 6pm as the owner had made plans. Felt we missed a prime opportunity as the fish were feeding and on us and gates not supposed to close till 7:15. We will be back as had a great day up until that point.

Visited last summer. Very disappointed two lakes full of fishermen nothing caught. Also the traffic noise is horrid. Not for me this one.

Had my first 30 session in a few months and was really let down by this lake every one has said there are 450 fish in one of the lakes but no one the day before during the night and till around 3pm when I left had caught or even had a run was quite as anything nice scenery and nice people on the lake but most likely wont be going back its a shame the shop was always closed and had to keep wating for the guy to come back as every time I tried to phone the number no one answered
