        Tucked away at the bottom of the village. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very good food. Steak comes with optional roasted marrow bone. Great to take home fir the dog. Dog friendly. High quality food.

        Great local country pub. Great, friendly staff. A very nice lunch stop on a long walk. Had ham egg and chips, delicious. Along with a pint of Cotswold lager, great.. Thoroughly recommend a stop here if your in the area.

        Food wise this was a poor standard. We waited 2 hours due to a large table then the beef roast came out and it was all cold. We sent it back and they appeared to have microwaved it and it was still cold. Having spoken to them and looking at the other ratings, they are really high and they have assured us this is truly a one off. They were very apologetic something did go wrong and mistakes happen. The service was good and they did not charge us anything the roasts, drinks or 2 deserts which was welcomed.
