Great location for country pubs, and the view is outstanding, you will have to go to the hidden valley. Site is very well looked after and the the showers are amazing. And you couldn't find better hospitality. Will definitely visit again

What a little gem! This site exceeded all expectations and completely blew away all previous notions of muddy fields and churned up grass. Think emerald green, carpet thick grass with a fantastic view of lambs playing in a field literally outside your window, hens coming up to your caravan door and distant rolling hills. A genuinely warm and friendly welcome from the owners who couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed and were happy and relaxed. Access was easy and well signed with the CCC sign and safe and secure behind electronic gates. The facility block is much nicer and cleaner than many we have been to, aesthetically set into a farm building with a huge radiator for cooler weather and an electric shower that doesn't switch itself off. Dishwashing sink has ample hot water and a drainer and was always spotlessly clean. We originally visited for the two steam railways which are only minutes away and we had two great days out, but there is so much more to this area to discover. Driving through beautiful small villages was more reminiscent of the Cotswolds and we didn't even get started on the pottery factory visits. This family have worked hard to create a haven for those who appreciate a genuine small farm rural site and continue to invest in providing what campers and caravanners really want. Amazing value, we will definitely be returning.
