Just picked up my new glasses from the Cheddar branch, and as ever, great service - very thorough and caring examination with Linda, and a great selection of frames, with imaginative suggestions from Shaleen of which to try. Great communication as to what would follow. There's always a sense of being welcome, and that nothing is too difficult, with underlying professionalism from the team.

Always very friendly and helpful. I have been a customer for many years now and even though I now live in Frome I continue to travel to Cheddar when it is time for my eyes to be tested. They take the time to explain everything including how the new prescription is different from the old one and confirm if you are legal to drive without your glasses if this is the case. If there is very little difference from the existing prescription there is NO pressure to purchase new glasses. They are honest and helpful when choosing new frames too. If there is a problem with the new glasses when you receive them they are always very happy to make an appointment to rectify any problems. I would highly recommend this optician.

Absolutely amazing service, very welcoming staff. The optician who saw me for an urgent eye irritation was very professional and thorough in her practices. She was more than happy to answer all my questions. 100% would recommend.
