My mom and dad stayed at Bradley Cross Farm, Shepherds Cottage for 3 nights along with our 2 dogs, both Staffie crosses. The property is a lovely simple cottage with all the amenities you would need and wonderful friendly hosts Paul, Judy and Tess & Meg the dogs. We were able to enjoy the outdoors looking out onto stunning views where you can watch the sun go down watching bats, buzzards and fireflies along with a bottle or two. (hiccup) We only booked for 3 nights but we wish we had booked for more. We will be returning and highly recommend booking.

Former shepherd's cottage on a small working farm run by Paul and Judy. The cottage is compact but has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay for two people. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us good advice about local walks etc. As expected in a rural retreat , the farm which supports rare breed cattle, sheep, chickens is located at the end of a track about 10mins outside of Cheddar. The cathedral city of Wells is about 25 mins away. Great views from this hillside location and of course a real feel of being in the countryside.
