Whilst the shop is small and can get cramped quickly with a few visitors. This place is lovely, the staff were extremely patient with me as I was purchasing jewelry at the time, even though other people required assistance I felt when being served the only person that mattered, that's great service . They have a good range of products for buying gifts for friends and loved ones. If they have to order in it can take a few weeks to arrive in store. Lovely shop and will definitely go back there in the future.

I'm leaving a 5 star review today even though I believe I should leave a lot less. I don't want to take away from your lovely shop. My gripe really was the young lady working today. Very unhelpful. Tried to pass an ornament that was clearly boxed in a bag. I asked for the box as I wish to post abroad plus the box adds to its attractiveness, being from the peanuts/Charlie Brown brand. "This doesn't come boxed" was the reply. Oh okay... as I left the shop clear as day the boxed item was there in the window. I returned and asked for the boxed item, the manner which I was dealt with was disgrace. So rude. Anyway besides that lovely shop, some very nice pieces and from the reviews above I'm very happy to see there is indeed a lovely lady and her son who work here. I will be back but not if miss cheerful is about.

What a find and such nice people. We were staying near Weston Super Mare for a few days and visited Cheddar Gorge. We popped into Mendip Gifts, and I found a lovely range of Unique men's leather bracelets in my size, 23cm. I ended up buying two and the next day decided to get another one before we returned to Suffolk, called the shop and spoke to the lady owners son, he put the bracelet aside and I called in later to collect. Thank you for doing this. The owner is lovely and so helpful, a big thank you and to your son . Please put the bracelets on your website so I may increase my collection! I urge anyone to visit this wonderful gift shop whilst in Cheddar Gorge, its a shame I live so far away, but I will be checking your website regularly for more goodies. Thank You
