Beech Lodge

My Dad in the middle of November 2020 freezing cold outside and presented to me like this. Couldn't go in because of Covid. Had to ask for his socks and coat. He died in February 2021 from sepsis.

This care home is now far much better than it was before, the new manager Lesley Powell has managed under a few months to transform it into a lovely home which is safe and comfortable for the residents....TLC Ltd recommends.

We looked very carefully into a home for our mum and Beech Lodge scored high. It was to be the best decision we could have made. Mum was treated with kindness, respect and dignity at all times. We cannot speak too highly of her care by all staff. Her room was bright and clean and at no time have we found her room or the home having an unpleasant smell. The staff have always been very friendly and nothing has been too much trouble. Mums excellent care continued to the end and respect and dignity continued to be shown to her after she passed away. Beech Lodge is a small home with a big heart.

My mother spent approximately 8-9 weeks here August - October 2021. We looked carefully into choosing a home but Beech Lodge scored highly and was close to our home. I was impressed from the start when we looked round the home and all staff said hello, even if they were in another room and could see us through an open door. I have been extremely happy with the care my mum received. Though Mum didn't initially want to go, the staff soon got her settled. She was treat with kindness, respect and dignity. Visiting was restricted due to Covid, but in her final week was unrestricted. During her stay I was kept fully up to date with her treatment. The staff looked after me too, especially at the end and could not have been more caring. Thank you Beech Lodge, you took away the stress of caring for my mother and allowed us to enjoy a mother / daughter relationship again.
