David could easily have tried to sell us new wood flooring - especially when presented with the major challenge of ripping up a room full of cork floor tiles to get to our floorboards. But instead he went the extra mile because he shared our vision for reclaiming the floorboards. The cost was exactly as quoted and very competitive. The job he and Elaine have done is spectacular and we're absolutely thrilled. Lovely people to deal with too. Highly recommended.

David the owner, did a perfect job fitting Vinyl in my Kitchen & study, so good I have booked him again to fit Vinyl in a bedroom. Very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Floors By Design.

Unfortunately despite a recommendation from a friend, we were extremely disappointed with the attitude of the company owner. We specifically asked that he fit our flooring as he had done our frends, this was booked months in advance. We had had the work assessed and given a written quote. On the fitting day unfortunately a broken vehicle meant the fitting had to be postponed till the next day, these things happen. However later that day we were told David wouldn't be doing our fitting, 2 other guys who were subcontracted did the job. They were excellent, however we were told it was over 300 more because the quote hadn't allowed for proper floor levelling. When my husband challenged this the owner was very rude, dismissive and actually put the phone down. Also after the floor levelling there was a spare bag of scree material which we had paid for and the fitters advised we would be reimbursed by the company, our messages and calls about this refund were all ignored. Luckily the finished job was excellent but the customer service from the company itself was disgusting, wouldn't recommend.
