I attempted to get in touch with someone from Hende regarding an extension. I began by completing their online form around 2 weeks ago. No response. Since then, I have attempted to contact them via their operator phone number on 4 separate occasions. Still no response. I'm very disappointed by this because it looks like the work they complete for customers is of high standard. However, the lack of response is extremely concerning; especially when a new customer is trying to get in touch. I only hope that someone from the company sees my review and contacts me. If they cannot contact me by telephone, they also have my email on the contact form that I submitted. Nevertheless, it looks like I'm not the only one who has voiced their opinions on the lack of responses from Hende.

We were looking for a contractor to complete a rear kitchen-diner extension, knocking down our conservatory and building across. After receiving several quotes we were immediately impressed with Ians approach and decided to go ahead. We had some challenges along the way, including Ian having to completely change the design of the roof from our original architectural plans (not done by Hende) due to some questionable measurements. This change actually improved the look of the design and we are delighted with the end result. Ians team were trustworthy and considerate throughout, leaving minimal mess, this was also mentioned by our neighbours. The agreed payment scheme was easy to follow and well managed throughout which helped when trying to budget for the project. I would have no hesitation recommending Hende Builders, they are professional and work collaboratively with you to ensure your ideas are realised. We are delighted with our new living space and have received plenty of compliments since completion.

We have just had an extension done by Hende Builders and are delighted with the workmanship and Ian Henderson was extremely helpful throughout.the whole process first class work and would certainly recommend this firm

Once we had secured planning permission for our rear kitchen extension and addition of porch and loo on the front we set about contacting potential building firms to complete the project. It took a while to actually find someone who would either answer the phone or ring back once a message had been left. When we had gathered a list of "possibles" we arranged for them to come and speak to us to discuss what we had in mind. We felt immediately at home with Ian who was already suggesting possible improvements to tweak the plans (which we took on board and are so glad we did, the double french windows are so much better than the original plan). We were fortunate enough to live on a road where Hende were already completing some work a few doors down, we spoke to the owners who had nothing but complimentary things to say. The quote Ian gave us was in the same ball park as the others so we went for it. After a few months the foundations were going in, things didn't go to plan due to bad ground but Hende arranged for the relevant contractors to provide quotes for the extra work necessary and things were soon moving again. John and Wayne the bricklayers were a model of professionalism. Eager to make sure that what you were getting was exactly what you were expecting. Throughout the project Hende's site manager had a set of keys for the property and was 100% trustworthy ensuring everything was locked up each day so we didn't have to take a single day off work. Phil the plumber and Aiden the carpenter/roofer were nice people to have around and just got on with the job. There have been a few hitches but they have all been addressed promptly and to our satisfaction. The final result is the extra space we wanted and better than we had envisaged.
