Great pub with lovely food and very welcoming staff.

So this place is just down the road from me and we went on a Sunday and it was packed. We sat outside, and the lady who served us put the outdoor heater on for us. Wasn't too cold, but the heater made it comfortable. Service was 5 star. The Sunday lunch came in good time, and it was delicious. The beef was tender and cooked perfectly. Everything was spot on. Well, worth a visit if you're in the area or passing by, but I'd book ahead as it gets really busy.

Thankfully I can give zero stars - because thats what this joke of a pub deserves. Food hugely over priced - I think they think theyre in Manchester City centre or the botanist in Alderly Edge. And they are far far far from it. Big pretenders. Manager is throws her weight around , and knows jack about customer service. Too busy pretending to work. Ive been going for years , never again , not that they need more customers now considering the price of their menu ! They can stay a float with a hand full. If you like over priced, frozen , oven cooked food , that takes 45 minutes with a side of foul faced management - then this is your joint. Avoid the king prawns if you do go - as theyre barley prawns and charge 9 for a pretentious portion that tastes like Icelands gino decampos line - (ginos are actually better).
