Elm Cottage Day Nursery, Brookfields

The manager of this nursery reached out to me on Facebook after me enquiring about nurseries with availability and she said she had some. I viewed the nursery when she was on annual leave and told whoever showed me around I want my little girl to go here as I was happy with the setting, she told me I had to wait till she was back off annual leave to get settling in sessions started etc which was fair enough as she's the manager. After following up again when she came back off annual leave with my forms being ready to be handed in, I was told there was no availability because families who viewed it AFTER me and had their forms in before me. I find this totally unacceptable especially when it's so hard to find a nursery. I've been left frustrated and annoyed as I had to rearrange plans to view the nursery, and she has wasted my time completely. I would have expected the manager to reach out to me and tell me there has been a lot of interest and asked if I was still considering it before offering the places to others first considering she reached out to me in the first place. Bad customer service to say the least.

The staff at elm cottage are absolutely wonderful and I cant speak highly enough of them. Theyre all so friendly and welcoming, and Ive always felt peace in the knowledge that my child was left in good hands, by people who genuinely cared. Theyve gone above and beyond to make my childs experience at nursery special, and have made a huge impact on the skills my child has developed over the years. Id recommend this nursery to everyone!

Absolutely amazing nursery setting! We are coming up to being here one year and Elsie absolutely loves it. We came from another nursery in Stockport after a bad experience there. Elsie settled in so well - it makes my heart melt seeing her go into Elm Cottage with a big smile on her face. Everyone is so friendly, warm and welcoming at the same time as having each childs best interests at heart. I highly recommend.

My daughter really wouldnt settle here either, she would always cry when dropping off and picking up. She went to a nursery previous to this one and was absolutely fine. Even the one she went to when I took her out of this one she was fine.
