I accompanied my mother to her appointment. It was easy to sign in and she was seen promptly. I didnt recognise the Dr and hes not listed at the practice. The doctor was excellent. He listened to my mother and answered all of her questions. She had an intimate examination and the dr was respectful and kind. He made her an appointment to see a specialist at the hospital and was given an appointment at the hospital immediately. I wish all Drs were as great as he was. Thank you!

I had a good experience as this was my second time. The staff were really lovely and caring. I did feel looked after especially by the receptionist.

This is on behalf of my 84 yr old mother who having checked her own blood pressure travelled to the surgery to book an appointment and was told none were available and to phone or come back the next day. Bearing in mind the last time her blood pressure was that high she was sent to hospital. On returning the next day was told at 8am there were still none! How is that possible? But the receptionist squeezed her in later that day which we are grateful for. On arrival at the surgery there were no more than 3 patients in the waiting rooms! Her appointment with the GP was very good and she (Lucy?) was very helpful and mum got the treatment she needed. GP action would get 5 stars but getting an appointment is so difficult it brings it down to 3 stars overall. Something needs to be done to improve the appointment service here.
